Time

Well this past weekend we finally had Mallie's real birthday and it was awesome!!  She was so happy and everything just went perfect!  It was good to have some happy times in our lives given the last 2 months.  Mallie could care less about her cake but it was still fun to watch her sit her high chair for the first time!  I whipped up a first year slideshow and it truly is crazy how she has changed this past year.  I want to thanks everyone that could make it and share in this great day!!!  I am sorry to those whose invites just came to you or were not delivered.  I love the mail system!!!  Well we had a rough start to the last week - she had been severly constipated for a few days and I had to go get her supositories for the first time....NOT FUN!!!  Then she came down with a fever and a cold - so her eating started to remind me of dark times......by friday she was feeling better and her eating has picked up emensly...THANK GOD!!!  She has even had mac and cheese - last night she ate spagetti!!  Tomorrow we have a follow up appt with Dr Robertson to check on her post surgery.  He will be happy to know that she is eating so well and gaining...than hopefully and no offense to him - it will be the last time we see him :)  Anyhow - just wanted to update tonite and the following week on friday we have 3 appts in GR.  A full day of appts...lucky us...at least its one day and less traveling.  Will keep everyone posted!!

Been a little bit

I know since being home I have not posted much....  We had our first doctor appt friday for her one year with Dr. Leikert and Mallie weighed in at 10.78 pounds:)  In three weeks she has gained back all she lost in Grand Rapids - so now everything she gains is a bonus :)  She is still eating really great - 3-5 ounces every 3 hours and starting to add more solids in here and there.  She is such a little mimicker....I love it!!  She tries to copy everything you do and does well at it most of the time.  We have no appts until the 29th of this month and we have 3 on that day.  She is still smily and happy as ever!!!  I went back to work this past week for the first time in 5 weeks.  It was good to get back so now i can feel normal, well as normal as I can.... Will post more later - Mallie is ready for bed
